Tim often declares, “I’m in the bonus round and working on my second cat.” After his Venus Flytrap days, Tim went on to star in Simon & Simon, Frank's Place, Sister-Sister, and That 70's Show. He’s produced and directed several films and television series, and was even bold enough to build his own film studio, New Millennium Studios in his home state of Virginia. But outside of acting, the Emmy–nominated actor/producer, NAACP Image Award winner is also a humorist, a published poet, motivational speaker, cancer survivor and founder of the annual scholarship fundraising event, Tim Reid Celebrity Weekend, in Hampton Roads, Virginia – entering its nineteenth year. In 2008, he co-authored his biography – Tim and Tom: An American Comedy in Black and White.
